PADI Emergency First Responder

​Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care eLearning is a convenient way for participants to complete the independent study portion of their EFR Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course from a laptop/desktop computer or mobile device. It also includes a digital version of the Skills Workbook to use in class as well as the Emergency Care Reference Section.

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care eLearning provides the background information for layperson emergency care for both life-threatening and nonlife-threatening injuries and illnesses. By understanding the Cycle of Care, participants learn the proper steps for attending to injured or ill patients and performing CPR or first aid procedures until emergency medical care arrives.

 

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care eLearning includes all of the required study materials for the EFR Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course including:

  • Content from the Emergency First Response Participant Manual

  • Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Video

  • All assessments (Knowledge Reviews, and exams)

  • Digital Emergency Care at a Glance card

Getting Started

Step 1: Sign up and purchase the Emergency First Responder course. The Emergency First Responder course includes the eLearning and skills portion of the course.

Step 2: After completing the Emergency First Responder eLearning, Big Al's Scuba will contact you to schedule the skills portion of the course that will be completed in 1 day.

Prerequisite for the Rescue Diver Course

PADI Emergency First/Oxygen Provider Bundle

Bundle the PADI Emergency First Responder and the Oxygen Provider courses and save $30. Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care eLearning provides the background information for layperson emergency care for both life-threatening and nonlife-threatening injuries and illnesses. By understanding the Cycle of Care, participants learn the proper steps for attending to injured or ill patients and performing CPR or first aid procedures until emergency medical care arrives. Emergency Oxygen Provider eLearning provides the basic knowledge about why and how to provide oxygen to an ill or injured diver. Divers learn about emergency oxygen equipment and safety consideration for handling oxygen in preparation for practicing the four required course skills and one optional skill. Emergency Oxygen Provider eLearning includes all of the required study materials for the specialty course including all assessments (Knowledge Review, Exercise Questions, and eRecord).

Step 1: Sign up and purchase the EFR and Oxygen Provider Bundle. The bundle includes eLearning Courses for both EFR and Oxygen Provider.
